Altair Vineyards - Vinyes Altair S. L. was founded in 2005 as the result of the common interest of a wine merchant from Bordeaux, a wine consultant in Burgundy, a renowned enologist from Bordeaux and a family from the Priorat region with roots in the wine industry. All areas of society are at the council of Gratallops, which is considered the heart of the Priorat Qualified Denomination of Origin (DOC), one of the two wine regions of Spain with this distinction. |

The union of the four parties that comprise this wine makers society, has allowed the creation of high quality wines and their international scope. Always in harmony with the environment, the vines have been grown using products that respect the environment.
Following the tradition of this area, the main goal when making wine is quality and not quantity, that's why before and after harvest, the best grapes are chosen in order to obtain the maximum quality. The collection and grape sorting processes are made by hand, in the same way that pruning and other tasks that are performed during the year.
